Insulation System
THERMOFLOC can be used for floor, wall and roof applications. THERMOFLOC blown-in insulation used in combination with THERMOFLOC vapor control layer, breather membrane and the adhesive products provides an uninterrupted, efficient insulation system that meets the highest standards.
THERMOFLOC Variable SD Membrane
THERMOFLOC VSD Membrane provides air tightness whilst allowing effective moisture management. The membrane can be use internally as an air tight barrier and vapour control layer for internal walls and roof linings. The THERMOFLOC VSD Membrane should only be used on the warm side of the insulation.
THERMOFLOC VSD membrane is reinforced for increased tear resistance and can be used in conjunction with most insulation systems including THERMOFLOC cellulose insulation.
THERMOFLOC Breather Membrane
THERMOFLOC breather membrane protects the construction from driving rain, prevent any penetration of moisture into the roof or wall structure. The membranes are UV-stable, particularly tear-resistant and extremely open to diffusion. The breather membranes are tacked overlapping on the outside of the roof, under the roof covering, to provide optimal protection against wind and rain.
THERMOFLOC Vapor Control Layer
Our vapor control layer is a vapor-resistant lining and airtight membrane that protects the construction reliably against moisture. It can be used for internal wall and roof applications. Reinforcement provides high tear resistance providing maximum durability and enabling insulation to be injected under high pressure. The THERMOFLOC vapor control layer is fastened to the substructure by means of stapling or gluing and usually secured using battens.
THERMOFLOC Adhesive Tape
Our THERMOFLOC adhesive tape is supplied in rolls widths of 5cm and 15cm. It is specially adapted to our THERMOFLOC products and combined with the THERMOFLOC vapor control layer and the THERMOFLOC breather membranes, constitutes a complete thermal insulation system. In addition to the airtight sealing with THERMOFLOC vapor control layer and THERMOFLOC breather membrane, the tape can be used for affixing joint connections onto timber boards (e.g. OSB boards, plywood boards, etc.).
